About Mo Holland
Maureen (Mo) Holland is the owner, instructor, and artistic director of Mo Holland Dance Studio since 1992. Mo’s dancing career started in Micki Pospisil Dance Studio, where she learned ballet, tap, and jazz during the years 1963 to 1976. While taking dance there, she attended Creighton University Royal Academy of Dance Program during the years 1971 to 1976. She was also involved in Omaha Ballet Company from 1973 to 1976, Omaha Dance Theatre in the year 1976, as well as being involved in Omaha Central High School Gymnastics from 1974 to 1976. During the years 1970 to 1973, Mo was an apprentice instructor for Micki Pospisil Dance Studio, and eventually became a dance instructor at Micki Pospisil Dance Studio from the year 1974 to 1979. She was also a dance instructor at Golden Heart School of Dance from 1977 to 1979. From 1979 to 1980, Mo was in the Gus Giordano Dance Program in Chicago, Illinois.From 1980 to 1985, Mo was a certified aerobics instructor. She has attended dance seminars at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles since 1988. She has also attended dance workshops with the Omaha Dance Teacher Association from 1988 to 2007. From 1981 to 1991 she was a dance instructor at Molloy & Company.
To continue her dance education, Mo attends Dance Olympus Conventions and takes classes at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, California every summer.
