Maureen (Mo) Holland

Owner, main instructor, and artistic director of Mo Holland Dance Studio since 1992.

Mo’s dancing career started in Micki Pospisil Dance Studio, where she learned ballet, tap, and jazz during the years 1963 to 1976. During this time she attended Creighton University Royal Academy of Dance Program from 1971 to 1976. She was involved in Omaha Ballet Company from 1973 to 1976, Omaha Dance Theatre in the year 1976, as well as Omaha Central High School Gymnastics from 1974 to 1976.

During the years 1970 to 1973, Mo was an apprentice instructor for Micki Pospisil Dance Studio, and was a dance instructor at the studio from 1974 to 1979. Concurrently, she was a dance instructor at Golden Heart School of Dance from 1977 to 1979. From 1979 to 1980, Mo was in the Gus Giordano Dance Program in Chicago, Illinois. From 1980 to 1985, she was a certified aerobics instructor.

From 1981 to 1991 she was a dance instructor at Molloy & Company. During this time, she also attended dance workshops with the Omaha Dance Teacher Association (1988 to 2007) and dance seminars at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles (since 1988).

She continues to attend the seminars in Los Angeles and Dance Olympus Conventions every summer to further her dance education.
